The Company
ArtPlacer was launched in 2019 with the intention to provide artists with tools to showcase their artworks and boost their careers.
Martín, a ninja developer from Argentina, and Nicolás, linked to the world of Art in New York, began the adventure after organically detecting that there was a need that up to now was not being satisfied with good quality.
They created an MVP and with paid advertising they were able to validate the business and start scaling the business and team in a healthy way.
Behind every feature, exhibition, email, or blog post, there was a team of creatives and innovators putting their best efforts to make it happen and offer the best assets to the artistic community.
The Challenge
Once the pandemic began, ArtPlacer detected the opportunity to keep the art galleries “open” but online, because the limitations of face-to-face were getting stronger. All online products would grow strongly and it was time to innovate and add much more value to their users.
That is why they decided to take more risk and put together a whole 3D team to layout different galleries and create a new product that would revolutionize the scene: virtual exhibitions.
That’s when they decided to rely on Matchit’s services, both to understand how to assemble that team, the necessary skills, roles, etc. and to quickly go looking for them to have a good time-to-market.
