We are looking for a Functional QA Lead – ReSA & ReIM to join our team.
The Functional QA Lead – ReSA & ReIM is crucial for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications and systems related to Retail Sales and Inventory Management (ReSA & ReIM) within the client’s environment. This role demands a strong understanding of retail business processes, deep knowledge of Oracle technologies within ReSA & ReIM, and proven leadership to guide a team of QA analysts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor QA analysts, providing guidance and training on testing methodologies, particularly for Oracle applications in retail.
- Develop and execute test plans for functional testing of ReSA & ReIM applications, focusing on Oracle-based systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand business requirements and user workflows related to ReSA & ReIM.
- Gain a deep understanding of Hibbett | City Gear’s ReSA & ReIM processes, including POS systems, inventory management, and Oracle’s role in these areas.
- Document and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with on-site and offshore teams for comprehensive testing and efficient communication.
- Stay current on ReSA & ReIM technologies and trends, particularly Oracle applications in retail.
- Contribute to improving functional testing processes and quality assurance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on functional testing of enterprise applications.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and applications in a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of ReSA & ReIM processes and workflows.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring QA teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with POS and inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
