We are looking for an Integration QA Analyst – MFCS & Reporting to join our team.
The Integration QA Analyst – MFCS & Reporting is responsible for ensuring the quality and seamless integration of various software applications and systems related to Merchandise and Financial Control Systems (MFCS) and Reporting within the client’s environment.
This role involves a strong understanding of data flows, system interactions, and Oracle technologies within the MFCS and Reporting domains. The analyst will collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to thoroughly test and validate integration points, ensuring data integrity, functionality, and performance across interconnected systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for integration testing, specifically focusing on interactions between MFCS and Reporting applications and other related systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze and understand integration requirements, identifying potential risks and areas of focus.
- Perform various types of integration testing, including functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing, ensuring data flows seamlessly between systems and that Oracle-related functionalities perform as expected.
- Utilize testing tools and technologies to automate and streamline integration testing processes.
- Document and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validation.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure integration solutions meet those needs.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, particularly those related to Oracle integration within the MFCS and Reporting domains.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration testing processes and quality assurance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on integration testing.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and applications, including testing integration points with other systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in a retail environment.
- Familiarity with cloud and SaaS environments.
- Experience with performance testing and load testing.
