We are looking for a Functional QA Analyst – ReSA & ReIM to join our team.
The Functional QA Analyst – ReSA & ReIM plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications and systems related to Retail Sales and Inventory Management (ReSA & ReIM) within the client’s environment. This role requires a strong understanding of retail business processes and a deep knowledge of how Oracle technologies are utilized within ReSA & ReIM functionalities. The analyst will be responsible for thoroughly testing these applications to ensure they meet business requirements, user needs, and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional testing of ReSA & ReIM applications, with a focus on Oracle-based systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand detailed business requirements and user workflows related to ReSA & ReIM functionalities.
- Perform various types of functional testing, including system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring applications meet functional specifications and business needs.
- Gain a deep understanding of client’s ReSA & ReIM processes, including POS systems, inventory management, and Oracle’s role in these areas.
- Document and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validation.
- Collaborate with on-site and offshore teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and efficient communication.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in ReSA & ReIM, particularly those related to Oracle applications in the retail sector.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of functional testing processes and quality assurance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on functional testing of enterprise applications.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and applications in a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of ReSA & ReIM processes and workflows.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with various stakeholders.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working with POS systems, inventory management systems, and CRM applications.
- Familiarity with mobile device testing.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
