We are seeking a Solutions of Observability Architect to work on strategic projects, designing innovative solutions that empower clients to achieve Operational Excellence with their mission-critical applications. Based in Mexico City preferably, the architect will play a key role in defining the adoption strategy for Observability solutions, ensuring the platform is utilized to its fullest potential. This is an exciting position that demands a passion for customers, products, and the market landscape.
Gross Salary Range: MXN 60,000 – 70,000 (4000 – 5000 usd)
Working Hours: 9 am to 6 pm, CDMX
Remote and On-site Work: 90% 10% split (some times on project needs to visit the client)
Requirements:
– Minimum 4 years of experience in Observability/Monitoring, DevOps, or SRE.
– Experience in implementing APM tools such as AppDynamics by CISCO or others like New Relic, Datadog, Dynatrace, Elastic, Splunk, etc.
– Scripting and Automation experience: Node.js, Python, .NET, Java, Ansible Redhat, ServiceNow.
– Experience in Observability of Kubernetes (K8), AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle architectures.
– Experience with AIOps solutions (BigPanda, ServiceNow ITOM, BMC Helix, etc.).
– Advanced or upper intermediate English level.
– Leadership and Self-management skills.
– Integration into Technical Teams and Leadership.
– Ability to handle uncertainties and risks. Work under pressure, especially with clients.
– Attitude of learning and research.
– Ability to propose new ideas and projects.
Bonus points
– ServiceNow platform knowledge, IRSM & ITOM, API integrations.
– Middleware knowledge (Jboss, Oracle ESB, WSO2, etc.).
– Database knowledge (Oracle, Microsoft SQL, etc.).
– Apache AirFlow knowledge.
– Development of Bots, integrations with Teams, Slack, etc.
– Openshift by Redhat knowledge.
– AI/ML learning and prediction models. Experience in Data Science.
– Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus solutions.
Responsibilities
– Lead Observability Projects for Clients.
– Develop Best Practices and Customer Experiences.
– Analyze Application Architectures, both traditional and Kubernetes/Cloud-based.
– Plan deployment and implementation of APM Agents (Application Performance Monitoring).
– Tune Application Observability.
– Design and implement KPIs and Dashboards (Operational, Managerial, and Business).
– Monitor Tickets and issues with APM vendors.
– Research new architectures or applications.
– Design and program plugins for Cloud queries via REST APIs.
– Provide Training & Certifications on Observability products.
