The role:
We’re actively pursuing an exceptional UX Designer to join our dynamic team, bringing expertise in research, design, and analysis. In this key role, you’ll delve into user needs, behaviors, and motivations using varied research methods, making strategic decisions to enhance client UX. Your responsibilities extend to mentoring our Jr/Ssr UX team, requiring strong soft skills. Your insights will be instrumental in refining overall user experiences for our clients’ products and services.
We seek a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a profound understanding of user-centered design principles and excellent communication skills. E-commerce experience is a prerequisite. If you’ve previously held roles such as Product Design Manager, Senior Product Designer, UI & UX Mentor, UI/UX Design Senior Manager, or Head of UX Design, your experience would be highly valued. Leading a team of 5 designers, you’ll report directly to the Creative Director. We’re specifically looking for a candidate who can seamlessly navigate both design direction and UX strategy, encompassing practical design work. Your background should demonstrate proficiency in UX research, design strategy, and actual UX design.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success with over 5 years in UX Designer or equivalent roles.
- Expertise in conducting user research, designing, and mentoring for digital products or services.
- Proven track record of working in eCommerce environments, showcasing a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
- Extensive experience in agency settings, navigating diverse client needs and projects.
- Advanced proficiency in English, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Practical experience in testing UX, applying a hands-on approach to enhance user experiences.
- Proven ability to generate relevant and comprehensive reports for clients, demonstrating a commitment to transparency and client satisfaction.
- Experience conducting interviews with clients, showcasing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, and heuristic evaluations.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with user research and prototyping tools, such as UserZoom, Optimal Workshop, UsabilityHub, etc.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing platforms.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Anthropology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex research findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate research insights into actionable design recommendations.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for advocating for the user.
Preferred (not required) Qualifications:
- Experience in the software development or technology industry.
- Knowledge of data visualization and data storytelling techniques.
- Experience in conducting international or cross-cultural user research.
Responsibilities:
User-Centric Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic studies, to extract valuable insights on user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Analyze research data, translating findings into actionable recommendations for enhancing product usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, delivery managers, and developers, ensuring seamless integration of research findings into the product development process.
User-Centered Design Deliverables:
- Generate impactful deliverables such as personas, user journey maps, and other user-centered design artifacts to deepen understanding of user needs and guide design decisions.
Monitoring and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze user feedback, product metrics, and user behavior data, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in UX research and design.
Advocacy for User-Centric Design:
- Champion user-centric design principles, fostering a culture of empathy and user advocacy within the team and organization.
Continuous Learning and Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX research techniques, tools, and trends, proactively proposing innovative approaches to improve the research process.
Client Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to define research objectives and develop research plans aligned with business goals.
Overall Leadership and Strategy:
- Provide overall leadership, steering the team towards impactful user experiences.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making in design direction and UX strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
